Kevin Romero is a Member of Technical Staff at RunSybil, where he focuses on expanding Sybil’s security testing capabilities. Before joining RunSybil in 2026, Kevin worked on Nuro’s offensive security team, testing the security of the company’s autonomous delivery vehicles. He later joined TikTok’s offensive security team, where he conducted vulnerability research across ByteDance’s attack surface to help protect U.S. user data.

His interest in security extends beyond his day job. Kevin enjoys hacking IoT and hardware devices, has earned bug bounties for discovering vulnerabilities in IoT products, and volunteers at the DEF CON Tamper Evident Village.
