Kiwi Issa is a Member of the Technical Staff at RunSybil, with half a decade of experience spanning offensive security, embedded systems, and AI security. Her background includes work in security product automation at Truist, embedded security at MITRE, AI security at NVIDIA, and security research at Cyber Skyline. Kiwi’s work has included fault injection research on novel ARM devices, automating security products in XSOAR, conducting penetration tests, researching complex systems, and developing CTF challenges for the NCL, WiCyS, CyberSEED, and CISA’s President’s Cup.

Kiwi is an active member of the security community and has spoken at DEF CON, CackalackyCon, BSides RDU, and the CyberTractor Challenge. She develops the cryptography challenge for CackalackyCon and helps run the CyberTractor Challenge through its sponsorship program. She also serves as a DEF CON Goon and mentors high school robotics students through FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).

Kiwi holds a master’s degree in Computer Science, as well as bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Criminology. At RunSybil, she brings her experience in offensive security and hands-on security research to breaking, testing, and understanding complex systems and advancing AI-powered security.
